Wendy Lind
Wendy is a lifetime lover of art, horses & outdoor pursuits. She grew up riding in Ireland, and by way of the Caribbean, where she lived for many years, found herself in the equestrian town of Middleburg, Virginia where she has called home since 1999.
Her grandmother, an avid fox hunter and breeder of thoroughbred race horses, and her grandfather was a renowned photographer, where she relished the time spent in his dark room and on their farm.
Love of horses, art, exploration and creativity were all embedded in her at a very young age.
Over the years, aside from being a designer/artist, she has been a passionate polo player, fox hunter and competitive sidesaddle rider.
Education
Professionally trained at New England School of Art & Design in Boston, Corcoran College of Art in Washington DC, and with Goksin Carey Akman/Sculpting Horses, where she discovered her deep love and understanding of sculpting.
A perpetual student, her work is constantly evolving. Always looking to expand her art, she trained as a welder, and most recently expanded into concrete, which brings diversity to her unique style.

Wendy Lind
Wendy lives on her farm in Middleburg with a managerie of animals, and her two teenagers Alexander and Sophia, all of whom are a constant inspiration to her and her art.
She is currently accepting commissions and offers to purchase her work.
